Dallas Wings Play4Kay
Kicks Shoelaces was proud to support the Dallas Wings and participate in the Play4Kay initiative, a meaningful event where the basketball community raises awareness and funds for cancer research.
The event is dedicated to the late Kay Yow, a legendary women's basketball coach who battled cancer with grace and determination. While facing stage IV cancer, renowned Hall of Fame coach Kay Yow bestowed her enduring legacy by establishing the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Since its establishment, the Fund has played a pivotal role in bringing together communities to collectively combat cancer.
Upon their arrival, passionate fans were greeted with specially packaged pink laces, each a symbol of unity and unwavering support.
Play 4 Kay is helping to change the narrative around all cancers affecting women by educating, empowering, and equipping the next generation with the tools needed to make positive change.
The arena comes alive with an air of celebration, where the crowd's energy rises and the stage is set for the renowned Dallas Wings to shine.
